Mendalic Acid

Mandelic acid, part of the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) group, is a naturally derived
compound from bitter almonds. Recognized for its exfoliating effects, mandelic acid
encourages skin renewal by gently removing dead skin cells. This aids in achieving a
smoother complexion and proves effective in tackling concerns like acne, fine lines,
and uneven skin tone. Notably, mandelic acid is preferred for its compatibility with
sensitive skin, attributed to its larger molecular size, resulting in reduced irritation
compared to certain other AHAs.
