kojic acid with palmitic acid, which enhances its stability and lipophilic (fat-loving)
properties. Kojic acid dipalmitate is often preferred in formulations due to its
increased stability and reduced potential for color changes in products. Similar to
kojic acid, kojic acid dipalmitate is believed to inhibit melanin production by
suppressing tyrosinase activity, making it useful for addressing issues like
hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and melasma. It’s considered a milder alternative to
