Citric Acid

Citric acid (anhydrous) is used in skincare as an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) sourced
from citrus fruits. Its exfoliating properties aid in skin cell turnover by disrupting the
connections between dead skin cells, resulting in a smoother and more radiant
complexion. Frequently integrated into skincare formulations, citric acid addresses
issues like hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, and dullness. Citric acid is also
used in formulation to adjust the pH.
