Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)

Sodium hydroxide is also called as lye or caustic soda. It is an alkaline ingredient
which is used in cosmetic products for different purposes. It’s often utilized to
increase or adjust the pH of formulations. Sodium hydroxide is a strong base and
can be caustic in its concentrated form, so make sure to handle it properly.
